Logan

The superhero year for you and me started with the movie Logan, the third film about the superhero mutant Wolverine performed by Hugh Jackman. It was a special project for Hugh. He played a mutant for seventeen years and was the main character in almost every X-Men movie.

He had great successes, and there were failures. However, this is a significant part of life, which Hugh Jackman has allocated a place in his heart. In both his and yours, dear reader.

After the release of the film, as is customary, fans were divided into those who were delighted with the film, and those who believed that the creators simply destroyed the images of the characters. But no one stood aside. And by the way, both the first and second fans were right. After all, the movie "Logan", in principle, deconstructs the images of the characters in the franchise, showing them in a completely unsightly light: weak, exhausted by life, and no longer heroes. And this is the main charm of the painting.

"Logan" doesn't try to entertain us unnecessarily, even the "18+" label here serves more as a checkmark and to explain which audience the film is aimed at. "Logan" touches on topics that are relevant to each of us. After all, looking at the "new", life-changing Wolverine would mean refusing to look at oneself through the prism of time. After all, we will all grow old, we will all have a period when we will only remember the past years in which we were full of energy.

And if the Immortal Wolverine himself is dying, then what about you and me? What did Logan leave, and what will we leave? Think about it in your spare minute.

The Power Rangers

"Power Rangers" is a film that received mostly negative reviews from the few who paid attention to it. However, for me it was a good one-time attraction, which reminded me of my childhood from the 90s, when I enthusiastically watched this series, only now with pretty cool special effects. Yes, the film spends a lot of time on exposure, there is not as much action as we would like, however, as a children's film, this is a very good entertaining picture that was worth watching in the cinema. Our "pop culture" hardly allows us to assume that the films destroyed by critics have at least something good in them, but perhaps it's worth taking a look for yourself, regardless of the opinions of others. Nothing special, but it seems to me that this movie will be able to entertain you for two hours of your life.

guardians of the galaxy: Part Two

James Gunn shot the Guardians of the Galaxy film again. The heroes of the sequel are once again Star-Lord, Groot (Baby Groot), Jet Raccoon, Drax and Gamora. And with this film, James showed again that he knows what he's doing. James Gunn has managed to show us something new without violating the concept of the original. Nebula and Yondo also returned to us in the film, as well as new characters: Ego and Mantis.

The whole film is permeated by the theme of family, and unlike Suicide Squad (which became a family in one evening), it took our characters four years of quarrels, successes and failures within two films to figure out who they are to each other now. The film touches on a lot of difficult family topics.

Despite the fact that in the new film, the characters save the universe again, the picture feels very local, which is why it is close. We get to know the characters better, learn something new about them, observe their personal development and the development of their relationships.

From characters whose comics (before the movie) you've never read, Guardians of the Galaxy has evolved into Marvel Studios' best project since the Avengers. This is a film that should be reviewed again, and then again, in order to see the interesting questions that the picture poses to us under the sauce of a beautiful visual.
